Northwest Insurance Agency established the Allstate Apartment Program in 2001. This program is designed to provide a market to the Allstate Agent on a class of business Allstate Insurance has elected not to provide.

ELIGIBILITY: All apartment buildings having five (5) or more units and a maximum of five (5) stories high. All buildings over three (3) stories must be 100% sprinklered and the system must be on an annual maintainence contract.

BUILDING CONSTRUCTION: All types

BUILDING AGE: MAXIMUM OF 30 YEARS OLD

PROTECTION CLASSES: 1-8

INELIGIBLE RISKS:
Buildings built on slopes in excess of 30%
Buildings less than 100 feet from a waterfront
Buildings with mixed usage. For example: a retail store with apartments

GENERAL UNDERWRITING

On site manager if eight (8) units or more
All pools, spas and playgrounds must be fenced
All railings must have vertical barriers no more than 4" apart
No BBQs under roof over hangs.

MUST HAVE THREE YEAR VERIFIABLE INSURANCE LOSS RUNS
