Northwest Insurance Agency is pleased to provide a market for
a variety of Commercial Auto risks to Allstate Agents.
Commercial Auto provides coverage for Liability, Medical
Payments, Personal Injury Protection, Uninsured and
Underinsured Motorists, Comprehensive, Specified Perils
and Collision coverages. The coverage is tailored
to specific state requirements where that is necessary.
The Commercial Auto business that we can cover for the
Allstate Agent includes any vehicle or type of business
that falls outside of Allstate market direction.
Commercial
Auto classes include a broad range of different types
of businesses and vehicle types. We will be able to
place any type of vehicle risk with the exception
of the following:
- For hire livery including taxis and limousines
- For hire dump trucks in CA. This class of business
is acceptable in all other states where this product
is available
- Emergency vehicles including ambulances, fire trucks and
other vehicles equipped with a siren. There are
some exceptions to this in rural areas, for example:
Independent Volunteer Fire Districts
- For hire or contract medical passenger transport or
para-transit risks
- Delivery vehicles with a time guarantee of 30 minutes or less
- Vehicles leased or rented to other by the insured
- Vehicles used to haul hazardous or explosive materials
(other than heating oil for home delivery)
- Coal haulers other than home delivery
- Flatbed steel haulers
- Vehicles used as a primary living facility
- Truck driving schools
- Transportation of prisoners or reform school students
As
long as the agent has the information required for
a quote (see Instructions page), we will be able to
provide a same day quote and bind for accounts that
have 1-9 power units.
